I ordered these in my normal boot size, which has worked across every other western boot I’ve owned. Unfortunately, I can’t even get my foot fully into the boot. My foot stops at the vamp due to what feels like an extremely tight instep. If you have a higher instep or wider/high-volume foot, be very cautious with sizing on these. The boots look nice, but the fit is much tighter than expected.

I have a collection of boots in evry brand imafinable as well as some custom boots. Roman is a great value and a great boot. Stacked leather heels, steel shank leather soles and a comapny that stand behing their products. This particular pair is the black version of the brown bull nech with the tooled leather camp I have had for over a year. They are amazing and no other boot can provide this quality for this price. I love my cowboy boots, but Roman has carved out a niche and I will never hesitate because they provide the biggest bang for the buck.
